Ok, so remember when I told you that I was selling my Grand Prix? Yeah, well we did that about 2 weeks ago and got exactly what we were asking, so that was awesome! So then the search began for the replacement for my van. See, we decided that we need to get rid of my Odyssey because I just drive too darn much and gas is just too freakin' expensive! I drive 27 miles one way to work and that does not include all the kid-running I do everyday. Three trips to the gas station in a week is just plain ridiculous (and expensive!).
Anyway, we were looking for either an Accord or a Camry. We needed something big enough for the two child seats as well as my massage table. Then we found a really nice 2005 Accord EX for a really great price. Barry went up to test drive it on Friday evening and really liked it, liked the price, and was pretty sure that if my massage table fit in the trunk and I liked it, we would be buying it. COOL! How easy was that? Only one thing...it was priced lower than any other Accord out there like it AND was in better shape...so it was kind of bothering Barry. He kept wondering what he had missed...what might be wrong with it??? Now you should know that this would really bother Barry, because he knows his cars...AND he does his research. Why was it priced so low?????
Turns out NOTHING was wrong with it!!! They had priced it too low on AutoTrader by mistake ( by $2000)...and then fixed the pricing error between when we test drove it and then went back up to make the decision. BUT, they said they would honor the original pricing we had seen if we decided to buy it. Holy cow...so let's just say the car is mine, sitting out in the driveway right now. And what a sweet deal we got. Barry couldn't be more pleased, and either could I. (Well, it COULD have leather and heated seats, but I don't think I need to get greedy now, do I?) The important thing is that everything fits and I will be getting WAY better gas mileage!!!Now we just have to sell the Odyssey. I sure will miss it, but I will NOT miss seeing the lady at the gas station every other freakin' day!!!!

Wow! Congratulations! It sounds like you got a great deal on it, and it is a really cute little car.
We have been talking about selling my van and getting a little car, for the gas mileage. But my van is paid for...so I am trying to hang onto it for as long as possible.
Congrats of your new car!! It's so cute! What an awesome deal...love that!
Congratulations on getting a new car you like. When my husband was in a wreck in October, we replaced the car that was totally with a little Nissan Versa that gets great gas mileage, and we really enjoy driving it.
What a deal. Gotta love the error on their part. Feel free to pack up that massage table and head north. I'm sure that Logziella and I would love to put your services to use after painting/packing/moving.
Way cool! Good for you and for your honey doing research. It looks great! Congrats.
