All Hail the King and Queen!
Kendall and Noah played so nicely today. In the afternoon, they decided they were going to play King and Queen and use our new outdoor bar chairs for their thrones. Kendall had to get dressed up and put on a crown, and then she dressed Noah in her penguin bathrobe...and check out his "crown". It's a party hat he made at school...and I think he looks more like the Pope than a king, but hey, who am I to say??? And get this...when Kendall was performing Noah's "coronation ceremony", she actually made him bow to her. Not that halfway, bend at the waist bowing, but the full on, kneel and put your forehead on the floor deal. It was HILARIOUS!!! Noah clearly does not understand the King-Queen dynamic just yet.
I'm a thirty-something mother of two, wife to one (haha), trying to live a simpler life in the log home my hubby built just for us. I've been called a tree-hugging granola cruncher by some of my friends, but I'm really not. I'm just trying to appreciate all the simple joys life has to offer...my rugged and handy hubby, my silly kids, good friends, great food, lots of fun, and of course, ICE CREAM & CHOCOLATE ! I love to laugh, so my day is not complete until I've made time to watch something funny before bed...mainly The Office! Come and spend the day with me... we'll have a great time, I promise!
